A
McGruff House is a safe house where children can go to receive help if
they find themselves in a frightening or emergency situation.
The Applications and
Renewal-Forms for 2008-2009 will be available in August.

And if you want to become a McGruff Hose, simply fill out application
and mail to the
Plano Police department. Once background check is finished
Deneen Vandergriff, our McGruff Chairperson, will receive
list of people that need to attend a short 15 minute video
and after
that is complete you will be given a sign to place in your
home. You
are an official McGruff house!
The meeting is only needed once after
that a pre filled application will be sent to you each year by the
police dept. Simply look it over that nothing has changed and
mail it
back and you are golden for another school year. Application
must be
current every school year.
