Hedgcoxe PTA wants you!  “The Dad's Club”    At Hedgcoxe Elementary     This club will be involved in activities such as:                                     Family Picnic Night                                     Book Fair                                     Carnival                                    Family Spirit Nights and more!   To become a member, you must be an “Active” member of the Hedgcoxe PTA. Hedgcoxe  Elementary School
Dad’s Club 2008- 2009

To support and assist the Hedgcoxe Elementary PTA / School Body during the 2008-2009 school year. To act as a communication liaison that allows the Fathers of Hedgcoxe Elementary School children to support school sponsored activities that enrich the experience for all students during the school year.

  Objectives

• To increase the membership and activity participation in the PTA and the Dad’s Club.

• To actively support all PTA sponsored school events.

• To provide additional support for the Family Picnic, Fall Carnival, Bicycle Rodeo, Family Spirit Nights and other events school related.

• Operate the Dad’s Club sign up table at “Tax-Free” day, as well as at the “Meet the Teacher” event.

• Co-host the Family Picnic BBQ. This year, we will be grilling up burgers and dogs for the families, as well as setting up games for all to play, such as volleyball, t-ball, horseshoes, and more. This will be a great opportunity for dads to get to know one another, and show off their master grilling skills.

• Organize all Dad’s Club volunteers for the Fall Carnival and other school events listed above. Support will include set up, food preparation (if needed), serving/assisting, as well as event clean up for appropriate events.

• Provide support for Hedgcoxe Elementary school functions as needed.
