Time for Hedgcoxe Dads to rock into another school year!

The Hedgcoxe Dad’s Club is going to be as involved as ever this year. We have many of the same events planned, and are looking to add more new, fun and exciting activities this year. As part of the Dad’s Club, we will be involved in activities such as:

Family Picnic BBQ Multiple Books Fairs Carnival Field Day Dad’s Club Golf Outing

How To become a Hedgcoxe Dad?

First you have to sign up as a volunteer with PISD and become an active PTA-Member.

Then simply print out the flyer and send it to school with your child. 

Dad's Club t-shirts can also be ordered with the flyer. 

More than ever this year, we are looking to get dads involved. We will be co-hosting the family picnic this year. The Dad’s Club will be providing dinner for all the families. Grills we be provided, as will the food (burgers & dogs), and dads will have an opportunity to show off their grilling skills. We will also be setting up games for families to enjoy, such as volleyball, t-ball, horseshoes, and any other backyard style games we can think of. Time to show off how well you can pitch a horseshoes, spike a volleyball, or smack a homerun.

We will continue to provide support for many other events, such as the school’s multiple book fairs, carnival, and field day, to name a few.

This year, we are also looking to add a few additional opportunities for dads to get together and get to know one another. We are looking to set up some golf outings, as well as other evening get togethers.

The Hedgcoxe Dad’s Club has been a great way for dads to get involved in their children’s school life, and this will be true more than ever this year.

Membership in the Dad’s Club is free. We do have new Dad’s Club shirts this year, which you can purchase for $15. They came out great, and feedback on the shirts has been very positive. You do not have to own a shirt to be part of the Dad’s Club, but as mentioned, they look great. If you would like one, you can note that, along with your size, on the sign-up form, or simply email me dadsclub@hedgcoxepta.org your request.
